Judo

The sport of judo was developed from several different schools of Japanese martial arts.'Ju' means 'soft', and the sport relies on speed and skill rather than brute force. Classes in judo are divided into kyu (pupil) and dan (master) grades, which are differentiated by the coloured belts worn around the waist.
