A match normally lasts two minutes.KendoKendo is a traditional Japanese martial art in which two contestants fight with a bamboo sword called a shinai. To protect them they wear protective armor consisting of a mask, breastplate, apron and gauntlets. Contests last for three or five minutes, but if the scores are equal after this time, extra time is permitted if the judges allow it. A blow to the permitted area of the body of the opponent scores one point. The winner is the first contestant to score two points (or the one with the higher score if extra time is not permitted).KorfballKorfball originated in the Netherlands in 1902. It is a team game played by two teams of twelve players - six men and six women. The the scoring of goals is similar to basketball. Korfball is played on a grass pitch and has three zones. Two men and two women from each team are positioned in a zone. A game lasts for ninety minutes - two fortyfive minute halves.
